Searchie Chrome Extension Backup Files/Previous Recordings

This article will help you find your backup files/previous recordings generated by the extension incase something happens to them while you're using the extension.

This is especially useful for tracking down files that were never uploaded correctly (hitting your hour limit), errors or never made it into Searchie.

Step 1

First, navigate to your chrome extensions page manager at located at chrome://extensions in your address bar.

Step 2

Scroll down until you find 'Extension options' and click here.

Step 3

You should now see an area where your previous recordings are stored. 

Note: there is a maximum of 10 previous recordings at once per account that can be stored. Recording another will delete your oldest one and replace it.

You're now able to download a copy of the previously recorded file if an error occurred while recording it.
