This article will explain how to search your entire media library for a specific word.
What you will need:
- An uploaded and transcribed file
- A Searchie account
Step 1
If you have already uploaded a video/audio file, skip this step.
If you haven't already uploaded a video/audio file please check out this article for guidance.
Step 2
Locate the search bar on the top of your screen.
Step 3
Type your keyword into the search bar and press enter. Your results should come up with the files the word appears in, the number of times it appears in that file, and folders with that word in the title. If no results appear, the word doesn't appear in your media library.
Step 4
Once you find the word you want in the video you want, select the video and the word will show highlighted in the transcription.
Step 5
The video will automatically begin to play and the player will show a list of timestamps where your word appears in the video.
Step 6
Clicking on these timestamps will bring you to the exact moment in the video that the word is spoken.
